Where do I even begin on this wedding! Let me start by saying this wedding was a photographers dream. I was so inspired the entire day. I do not even know how many photos I took in total! First, they could not have had their wedding in a more beautiful location. Amber’s family has a ministry right outside of Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic called Crossroads. They have one of the most beautiful retreats I’ve ever visited. I always describe it as a place where you would think ferries and pixies should be flying around. Secondly, the couple was amazing to photograph! I love it when photos are really important to the couple because they then give me the time and the freedom to really get some amazing photos for them! Of course it didn’t hurt that they were both so photogenic!
So… you take a beautiful location, a beautiful couple, and then you throw in a horse, an amazing dress, beautiful beach, loving family, breathtaking sunset, and a dance floor lit by candlelight….. do I need to say more!!!!! It was amazing!
Thank you Amber and Sean for letting me be apart of such a wonderful celebration!

I just LOVE the room that Amber got ready in. This was where her and her sisters grew up!!! Can you imagine?
The ceremony actually took place a little ways away from Crossroads on a beautiful surf beach.
After the ceremony Sean and Amber wanted to do a foot washing on the beach.
After the ceremony, everyone headed back up to Crossroads and I had time with just the bride and groom.
I am so glad I shoot the Canon Mark II. I would have never been able to capture the first dance the way it needed to be captured. Most of my reception photos were shot at 6400 ISO!
What a beautiful wedding day for this wonderful couple! I had such a great time photographing their small ceremony in Key Colony Beach. We found out that their story is a lot like Chester and my story! =) Pretty crazy! I feel so blessed to get such great couples to photograph!
Michelle and Steve came down to the Florida Keys a couple weeks ago to finalize a few things for their upcoming wedding. I was so excited they decided to fit in their engagement session while they were here. I had such a great time photographing these two and I can’t wait to photograph their wedding at the Coconut Palm Inn in a couple months!
