I had such a great time photographing Jill Steven’s today! What an amazing lady! Some of you might know her from Center for Learning but she also has some other great projects she is working on like Your Self-Image Blue Print. We were able to get so many great shots (even with fighting the rain.) Enjoy the Sneak Peek!

I photographed this wedding in Reston, Va (Just outside of D.C..) What a great wedding to be a part of! I first met this couple down in the Dominican Republic where I shot their engagement photos.

It was important to them that they had a wedding that was environmentally friendly. It was so much fun to see how the incorporated their different ideas into their wedding day.

They used palm leaf plates, which are biodegradable and made from fallen palm leaves. They also used utensils made from bamboo. They rented glasses so no plastic was used. The table clothes were purchased from a past bride, and will hopefully be resold to another bride to keep them in use. Same goes for the vases for the center pieces.

  • Brianna Phelan - Beautiful shots – you captured so many great moments 🙂

I always feel so honored when I am able to be a part of such special events in people’s lives. A couple weeks ago I photographed This beautiful baby girl’s baptism. You might recognize her and her family from her newborn photos and her mom’s maternity photos. It’s crazy how fast they grow!

  • Jenni Carmon - J. Carmon Photography - These are beautiful Michelle. The lighting is so soft. Great work!

  • Aunt Becky - This family is SO SMART to have you chronicle their life marking moments with your beautiful photos!

Goeff and Katarina decided to have a beautiful wedding in Katarina’s parent’s backyard. After the ceremony, they moved across the street for the reception, which was held in Katarina’s sister’s house. Everything turned out perfect. They were so much fun to photograph. We shot the bride and groom photos before the ceremony behind the old Sarasota High School building. I can’t stress enough how GREAT it is to do your formal shots before the ceremony. We were able to get so many great shots at this beautiful location.
